Did what I hoped it would!Sep 05, 2010 After reading the reviews about sizing I was a little nervous about ordering the medium. I'm currently 29 weeks pregnant, 5'7" tall and 190 pounds and the medium belt fits great. I currently use in on the middle setting and I think the largest setting should accommodate future growth just fine. After wearing it during times when I'm on my feet a lot for the last 4 days I've noticed a marked decrease in sacroiliac and pubic bone pain. Also, the belt has the added bonus of helping hold up my pants when the panel gets stretched out!
Hard and stiff.Sep 03, 2010 I didn't find this belt to be that comfortable. It is very hard and stiff. Doesn't do as good as a job as the maternity belt I purchased from Babies R Us. Which has an upper and lower support band.
COULD BE BETTER....Aug 30, 2010 This product could be better. The band is not wide/ tall enough, and you can see it through clothing when you wear it. Also, it has three adjustable sizes, but the hooks/ sizes are so far apart that there are times where it is too loose or too tight when you are waiting to fill in to the next size. Additionally, during the times it is too loose, it rides up and down and you have to keep adjusting it. It would be better if it didn't show under clothes, and if it didn't shift around when you are between sizes.
2nd generationAug 26, 2010 I used one when I was carrying my daughter and now I got one for her. I was so glad to see that it is still made! This really helps relieve the pulling feeling under the ribs and back pain. I agree that it runs small. My daughter is 5'8", 143 pounds at 36 weeks and it is getting uncomfortable on the middle setting.
Didn't help me.Aug 21, 2010 I've been having problems with the muscles in the top of my belly spreading, and causing sharp pains. My OB suggested a belly band to help take some of the pressure off. Unfortunately this produce did nothing for my pain. I gave it two stars because it was relatively comfy and I didn't buy it for what it was intended. It didn't help me in the least though.
