We have ditched the traditional training potty in lieu of these types of seats. You can take them where ever, they are easy to clean (the cushiony part detatches from the main ring), and they keep my toddler distracted with the design. We have a Sesame Street one, too. They aren't too expensive either, but I bet they're cheaper just getting one at Wal-Mart, etc. Mine just loves Dora, though, so I couldn't resist. A good product, but I bet you can get it cheaper at the store.

This is a very cute product that any child would love because of the pictures but the design doesn't allow it to sit securely on the toilet. It might would work well on a flat toilet seat but most toilet seats aren't flat anymore. If I child tried to climb on this it would shift potentially causing them to fall. More of these seats need to have a little rubber ring on the bottom to prevent them from slipping or turning and be designed for the modern toilet seat.

This is completely unacceptable for elongated seats with curves. It just slides around and is a completely unusable waste of money.

Does not fit on the toilet seat. It slides around. The pee guard is use less. My boy pees right over it. This is a waste of money.

I wanted to get my son a potty seat because he said his potty chair was for babies and he kept partly falling into our adult sized toilet. He specifically picked the blue Spongebob one. The least expensive one was at [...] thru Amazon.com. I read the reviews and was a little concerned, but he wanted it so I bought it. It was the best decision I made. Its a great product. It easily attaches to our toilet seat and doesnt slide around (our seat is a softseat). Our son is able to get on the seat w/very little problems (just coordination). I was concerned about the pee guard (because its a little short), but after I explained to him that he must pee under the guard and into the toilet he makes sure that happens. We are both very happy with it and he uses it everytime. I've only ran the underside in hot water to wash it off, but the softseat does unattach easily and snaps back in easily. We are very happy w/our purchase.
