Evenflo has horrible customer serviceMar 12, 2008

We had the version of this carseat that was recalled. I had JUST bought the seat when it was recalled a few days later. I got the replacement part and it was not a solution at all. It required you to strap the carseat to the base completely rendering the base useless. In fact, if you didn't use the base you didn't even need a new part. Anyway, I called the company and told them that this was not acceptable. They refused to take the seat back and said the only thing they were offering to the consumer was the strap. I refuse to buy anymore products from this company because they do not stand by their products and obviously don't test them well enough before they are put on the market. Luckily, Walmart took it back because it was a defective product. I would not buy Evenflo products.
