Seat works good for little boys - has high pee guard.May 20, 2010 Great little seat. The old seat we had would move around on the toilet but this one has a rubber grip on the bottom side with helps ensure it doesn't slide. Also, it has a high pee guard so little boys keep the pee in the toilet and not on the floor.
It's okMay 02, 2010 They should specify what kind of toilet this seat fits. . It falls in alot of the times!!
Pooh seatFeb 21, 2010 Bought two seats (one upstairs/down). It took some time for my son to get used to it. But once he understood he loved his seat. It seems very comfortable, easy to clean, etc. The handles are very useful and sturdy. Love the pee cup as a deflection device. One thing to be aware of is don't let your child lean forward with cup installed (boys only). It can cause some pain and scrape their skin (training issue). Overall, very satisfied with product and will definitely recommend again.

Messy for boys but probably perfect for girlsFeb 14, 2010 It is fine and my boys like it. It is very hard to keep clean though because if they use it for #1 the splash guard doesn't really do anything and urine goes everywhere including under the cushion and sometimes between the crack of the toilet seat and toilet base and urine gets on the boys legs, which is a huge mess and irritation. I haven't found a seat with a better splash guard though so I think it works as well as any other and I like that the cushion is removable for cleaning. My boys love the handles and that it is soft when they sit down. Fits regular and elongated toilets so that is nice. I just have them potty standing up and use this for #2 and it is perfect for that. I would think there would be no issue at all for a girl though.
I never purchased a kid sized potty chair because I didn't want to clean the nastiness out of the potty bowl every time and my boys never had an issue at all with using their big boy potty seat on the "big boy toilet" and that way I never had the extra mess of the potty chair "bowl" to clean when they were done, especially #2, which I just can't imagine cleaning up out of the potty chair!! Anyway, I bought a step stool and this and they both potty trained on it and still use it so it is great for ages starting around 1.5 and my 4.5 year old still likes it instead of trying not to fall into the toilet without it. Much, much cleaner and easier than a potty chair and it doesn't take up any room.
FlimsyJan 30, 2010 This potty seat is not very sturdy. It just lays on top of the regular toilet seat. It does have rubber cushions on the bottom of the potty seat, but it doesn't do much to keep it from sliding around.
