This may be a decision to avoid lawsuits, but the water barely registers in this tub. The baby's body is mostly outside of the water, and he cant play or enjoy his bath fully. This gets worse as the baby grows, so this tub wont serve you long.

leaked, but was fixable...Jul 15, 2010
I read some criticisms and I agree that some of the plugs initially leaked and had to be fixed by my husband (not a big deal). It's absolutely something the company could improve upon.
The real bonus of this tub is that when baby pees, there is an opportunity for it to flow out through the drains. There are many drains on the tub and at various depths. Once I lather up the baby, I unplug the bottom drain and rinse him completely, the replug if he wants to play in clean water. This feature is wonderful, as with my previous tub I was forever trying to get the soap off of him and wondering just how much of the tub had pee in it. With the "flowing" tub, I feel much more confident that the baby is clean, and soap free after his bath. Another thing is that he really likes the flowing water.
The thermometer works well, so long as you don't drench it. It could be sealed/contained better. I once doused it and then had to dry it for days, and it ultimately resurrected itself, thankfully. Bottom line, don't run your water over the thermometer, but the sensor. This requires you to keep the pressure low, so as not to have it splash all over the thermometer area either. It is best to dry this tub upside down with the thermometer on the top end, so as not to drain INto the thermometer area.
I love the concept, I use the tub exclusively....although I think there could absolutely be improvements made to it - I would still buy it again.

Temperature gauge and the drain are the biggest plus points over the traditional bath tubs.

A++++ This is the best tub ever! I hate other bathtubs because the baby has to sit in dirty water the whole time. I love the concept of the 4mom tub and it is handsdown the best bathtub I have ever had and I have had several! I love how comfortably my baby sits in the tub and how well it fits in my sink. 4moms has outdone themselves again!!

Great product and great customer serviceApr 22, 2010
This is my third child with quite a bit of time since the first two and I have to say...I really wish I had this tub back then. It is so easy to use because you know the exact temperature at all times. Not only that, but it's even a fun way to teach colors. I run it under the water while it is warming up and it is still yellow and my son will watch it intently and gets so excited when it turns to green. I did have a malfunction with the thermometer (water leaked in it) and I have to say that their customer service is just exceptional. I emailed them with my concerns and by the next morning they not only emailed me back, but had a replacement thermometer in the mail. I would highly recommend this tub to any new family.
